Primer Fibromiyalji Sendromunda Ultrason ve Lazer Tedavilerinin Etkinliklerinin Karşılaştırılması

In this study 20 patinets diagnosed as fibromyalgia according to the ACR 1990 criteria were divided in two treatment groups. The patients in the first group received hot pack + ultrasound and the patients in the second group received hot pack + laser for ten days. The farameters used for the assessments; stiffness, sleep disturbance, fatigue, total tender point numbers and totla tender point scores. In both treatment groups significant improvements were achieved in all outcome parameters out of sleep disturbance (p<0.05). There were no difference between efficiency among both therapy modalities out of total tender point scores. Ultrasound trerapy was more effective on total tender point scores.
